Mentoring student-run organizations is about providing guidance, resources, and support while allowing students the freedom to lead and make decisions. This mentorship can include everything from strategic planning and leadership development to helping students manage team dynamics, budgeting, and event execution. Experiential learning, or learning by doing, is incredibly powerful because it allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations. Through hands-on experience, they not only gain practical skills but also develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and confidence. 

By running their own organizations, students learn to make decisions, take responsibility for outcomes, and adapt to unexpected challenges—valuable lessons that can't always be taught in a classroom. Mentoring in this context helps guide them through these experiences, ensuring they learn from both successes and failures while growing into effective leaders.
